In January of 2026 I completed a website project for comic book artist Corin Howell. The purpose was to redesign her old site, which was more geared toward showcasing her portfolio, and optimize it for sales and newsletter subscriptions. We began with addressing the pain points of the original site — namely, the lack of SEO optimization or CTAs on the homepage — and put together a plan for the new site.
We also set aside some time to do some product photography for her books, prints, and original artwork. This helped give each of her product pages some more context, showing the scale of each piece while also keeping in theme with her dark gothic illustration aesthetic.
Corin’s hit horror-comedy series Lilith was the focus of the site, along with her original ink drawings and merchandise. In total the site saw a 100% increase YoY in site visits, as well as sales and email subscribers.
